1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EuchreTourney (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by EuchreTourney (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Description of Service

EuchreTourney is a tournament management platform for in-person euchre card game events. The Service provides automatic rotating partner pairings, live scoring, real-time standings, player profiles, and achievements. The Service is available as a web application and native mobile apps.

3. Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must sign in using Google Sign-In or an email magic link. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Not share your account access with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Tournament Credits and Payments

Creating a tournament requires a tournament credit. Your first 3 tournaments are free. Additional credits can be purchased through the Service.

• Credits are non-refundable once used to create a tournament
• Purchased credits never expire
• Joining a tournament created by someone else is always free
• Payments are processed by Stripe (web) or Apple/Google (mobile apps) and are subject to their respective terms
• Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Submit false, misleading, or abusive content
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by EuchreTourney and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the data you submit (tournament names, scores, contacts), but grant us a license to use it to provide and improve the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for the outcome of any euchre tournament or the accuracy of any scores entered by users.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EuchreTourney shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data or use, arising out of your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits are non-refundable upon termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
